Most timing questions come down to one thing: how much notice your guests need. Work backwards from your wedding date, and allow extra if people have to travel.

Send these once your date and venue are confirmed. They only need to say who, when and where. Allow the longer end for destination weddings, long weekends and guests coming from overseas.
Three months gives guests time to plan without forgetting. Go a little earlier if you’ve skipped save-the-dates or the wedding falls in a busy season.
Check two dates before you choose this one: when your caterer needs final numbers and when your seating plan has to be finished. Set your RSVP date at least a week before the earlier of the two.
Book a styling consultation and we’ll help you work out what suits your day, your venue and your budget.
