The seating plan feels huge because it’s all about people. Done in the right order, it’s mostly a sorting job.

Starting before replies are in usually means doing it twice. Get your venue’s floor plan and table sizes early, then start seating once most people have answered.
Someone will always cancel in the final week. Finish your plan about two weeks out, and leave a spare seat or two. A digital seating chart can be updated up to the last minute, while a printed one needs your final list about 10 days before.
A printed chart looks beautiful as guests arrive, but it can create a crowd. Adding a QR code lets people find their name on their phone, so you can have both.
Book a styling consultation and we’ll help you work out what suits your day, your venue and your budget.
