An invitation has a short job: tell people who, when and where, and how to reply. After that, the tone is up to you.

“Ava Hart and Noah Reid request the pleasure of your company at their wedding on Saturday the twentieth of March, two thousand and twenty-seven, at three o’clock in the afternoon.”
“We’re getting married! Come and celebrate with us on Saturday 20 March 2027, from 3pm. There’ll be good food, long speeches and a very full dance floor.”
“Together with their families, Ava and Noah invite you to celebrate their wedding.” This line includes both families without needing to name everyone.
Say who’s invited by addressing each invitation to the exact people you mean. That’s kinder and clearer than a line about children or plus-ones. Keep gift wording short, and put the details on your wedding page instead of crowding the card.
